The scamorza di Bufala Masseria Lupata is a stretched curd cheese produced in Cilento with buffalo milk sourced from selected farms in the Piana del Sele.
Uses in the Kitchen
- If you consume it fresh, leave it at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.

The Buffalo Scamorza from Cilento is a stretched-curd cheese made from whole buffalo milk, sourced from farms located in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. It is an excellent product that obtained the recognition of Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) in 2010.
The DOP Buffalo Scamorza from Cilento comes in two shapes:

Scamorza: pear-shaped, weighing between 150 and 800 grams.

Truncated Scamorza: cylindrical in shape, weighing between 500 and 3,000 grams.
The rind is thin and smooth, with a straw-yellow color. The paste is soft and creamy, with a milky white color. The flavor is sweet and delicate, with a slight aroma of hay and butter.
